A movie opening and the basketball court, again!

These events are more of a hassle than interesting to the residents and commuters. Sometimes it seems like Hollywood Blvd is closed more than it’s open; but Hollywood is about movies. Thank God they’re filming here, and bringing in tourists!

Well, that gosh-darn basketball court at the Yucca Street Park is going to be the death of me! It’s a neighborhood nuisance and a blight! I’ve got a gene in me that allows me to complain and whine and nag. Have you noticed? BTW- Who WAS that guy with you that day several weeks ago, Mr. Hon. Labonge?

I think this is a fun ad campaign. As a matter of fact, I am reading nonfiction materials about the 13th Century. What fun!

About Russell Smith

I was born at the American Hospital in Neuilly-sur-Seine, France. I find inspiration in the lives of so many people from Joan of Arc to Oscar Wilde. While my primary avocation is photography, I also enjoy philosophy, theology and most of all, history. My beloved wife, Robin Anne Smith, who passed away in 2013 is also an inspiration to me. My beloved partner, Dana is also a great support and inspiration to me. I'd be remiss if I did not mention my cats: Natasha, Maxwell, Tigger and Nigel.
