A little song of Hollywood

It’s been a busy day for yours truly, but I shan’t bore you with the details. Here’s the South side of the Beloved Boulevard and I am proceeding South, I do declare! My Aunt Erdeal died recently and she would use words like, “reckon” and they would slide offer her tongue, as smooth as dark chocolate. I missed her funeral; and that nearly broke my heart. I guess using the word South evoked this tangent, because Erdeal was from the Old South through and through.

On my way home, I encountered this skywriting in the parking lot of Musso’s. Can any of you decipher it? That’s one thing you have to give Hollywood credit for: creative advertising. I can make out “…YOUR EYES,” at the end. That’s it.

I’m sorry, guys. You know I can’t end one of these mellow entries without a couple of pics of my darling kitties, “my babies” to me, “his cats” to you.

About Russell Smith

I was born at the American Hospital in Neuilly-sur-Seine, France. I find inspiration in the lives of so many people from Joan of Arc to Oscar Wilde. While my primary avocation is photography, I also enjoy philosophy, theology and most of all, history. My beloved wife, Robin Anne Smith, who passed away in 2013 is also an inspiration to me. My beloved partner, Dana is also a great support and inspiration to me. I'd be remiss if I did not mention my cats: Natasha, Maxwell, Tigger and Nigel.
