Art is everywhere, even in your pocket!

From Russell’s Hollyblog

There it is, every where you go! Whether it’s rooting around in your pocket, or the side of the street, or even in the middle of the street, there is no escaping it. I guess that for the most part I’m talking about random art, but it doesn’t necessarily have to be random, except in the sense that one stumbles across it. I love art and I’ve always enjoyed discussing the nature of art. How do you define it? On a personal and subjective level? Or a social and objective level? Or do you conjure a mixture of the two?

About Russell Smith

I was born at the American Hospital in Neuilly-sur-Seine, France. I find inspiration in the lives of so many people from Joan of Arc to Oscar Wilde. While my primary avocation is photography, I also enjoy philosophy, theology and most of all, history. My beloved wife, Robin Anne Smith, who passed away in 2013 is also an inspiration to me. My beloved partner, Dana is also a great support and inspiration to me. I'd be remiss if I did not mention my cats: Natasha, Maxwell, Tigger and Nigel.
